Jasmin has missed a lot of school from a combination of a lingering cold and pain in her hip and knee. She is also dealing with migraines.

Prancer accompanied Jasmin and her father to Dunkin Donuts and a local park - just to show Prancer around a little (he's an inside cat). It was a cool, windy day so Prancer stayed in the back of his cage while outside.

Jasmin has missed some school due to a lingering virus. She is thinking of getting her driver's license over the summer. Someone could donate a car or minivan...

This photo was taken in 1998 when Marvin (Grandpa) and Lucille (Grandma) were visiting from Wisconsin.

Jasmin's grandfather passed away a couple of days ago. He had suffered from Alzheimers over the past few years. She and her mother are traveling to Wisconsin for the funeral.

Jasmin continues to be healthy enough for school, though she missed a few days over the past couple of weeks. She is fighting a virus that is giving her stomach pain.

Jasmin has been feeling a little better. The Christmas tree was finally taken down. We can tell Spring is coming even though snow keeps falling and the temperatures are still stuck in the 30's.

Jasmin still battles persistent migraines. The tree was crowned with "Believe" Bear Angel. Our snow is melting and disappearing quickly! Everything will be green again by Sunday, December 28th...go figure. HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Eight inches of snow came December 17, 18 and 19th.

Jasmin is able to take the new medicine for her migraines. Jasmin and RoJeanne put the Christmas tree up and it will soon be crowned. The first snow fell last week and it stuck around for almost an entire day.

Jasmin had an EKG to be sure her heart is healthy enough to handle a new prescription for pain medication. She is able to gain some comfort from Tales of Pirates, a massively multi-player online role-playing game (MMORPG). The first snow fell yesterday and neither Prancer nor Charlie were much impressed...maybe because they had just eaten their breakfast...

Jasmin received the news that she may have a problem with her thyroid and needs an ultrasound since the MRI was inconclusive. But that's good news as far as the MRI not showing anything definitely wrong. She continues to have headaches and frequent nausea. Jasmin is able to stay on top of her school work and has a tutor come most days when she cannot attend classes. Prancer and Charlie have a new viewing and napping platform in the living room that looks out over the bushes in the front of the house. It's a little wobbly, but they enjoy it especially when the sun shines into the front windows. The platform puts them at a good height for petting.
